The Toronto Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (THCC) hosted the 2016 VISION AWARDS GALA at the Glen Gould Studio at CBC in Toronto on October 27, 2016, to honour Hispanics such as Israel.

Israel Trivino, President of Israel Garage Doors, is a member of the Toronto Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (THCC).
The THCC is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization established in 2002. Their focus is to support economic development for Hispanic Business in Canada and Latin America. They are bridging business opportunities for Canadians and Hispanics. Their purpose is to promote and support the business activities of their members; to facilitate business opportunities; and to unite all Hispanics in the Toronto GTA. Their members are part of a flourishing business network that provides support, mentorship and connections.

The Character Community Foundation of York Region (CCFYR) has an ongoing mission to engage individuals and organizations in positive character development and to work toward their vision of having York Region lead in community character development. CCFYR recognizes 11 character attributes: compassion, courage, fairness, honesty, inclusiveness, initiative, integrity, optimism, perseverance, respect and responsibility. Israel Garage Doors has been a member since 2013.
